C'est L'Halloween - European Lanagues Day 2012

Categories: School News

On Friday the 31st October 2012, our S2 students all participated in, what has become, our annual Modern Languages Day. This year the event took on a new dimension, with the proceedings taking on a spooky twist. Having studied the French ghost story,C’est L’Halloween, in class, the pupils went on to enjoy a fun-filled day of activities in French relating to ghouls and ghosts. Active learning activities included mask –making, singing, French board games, story writing and gooh making! The pupils used their French language throughout and feedback has shown that they had a thoroughly enjoyable day. As the photos show, the students were engaged, and motivated throughout. We are very grateful to the large number of S6 students who came along to help out and made the day a resounding success!
