Categories: School News

On Thursday 31st January the annual art exhibition at St Ninian’s High school drew in large crowd from the community as the Art and Design department provided a number of excellent works produced by our students. With a selection of work from all year groups there was much to be proud of. Some highlights included the higher work of pupil Paul Green which was awarded 100% by the SQA. There were many great portraits influenced by the visits of Andrew Ratcliffe, portrait painter to HRH Prince Charles. There was also an array of work inspired by Chinese culture submitted for the Glasgow Galleries competition including ceramics and full traditional Chinese costumes designed by the pupils. S1 produced a selection of printed portraits. Also on display was the film produced from the S2 fashion show and a selection of paper garments produced by the pupils for the show.
