Showcasing School of Ambition

Categories: School News

On Wednesday 3rd March Mirage Television Productions, commissioned by Learning Teaching Scotland in conjunction with the Scottish Government, arrived at St Ninian’s High School to capture a wide range of events organised to showcase best School of Ambition practice.

Over 400 pupils and 28 staff were filmed in the course of the day in events as diverse as our Sci-Fun and Active Learning theme days, the Connections across the Curriculum lunch, our Pupil Leadership Academy, lessons on interactive language learning and interdisciplinary work from the Art and English departments. Sincere thanks to all staff and pupils who participated in individual interviews on International Education, Action Research, Continued Professional Development and Creating a Culture of Achievement at St Ninian’s High School.

The resulting DVD will be distributed widely and used as a point of reference by other schools in Scotland.
