Multicellular Organisms

Multicellular Organisms is one of three units of the National 5 Biology course. It aims to widen pupil’s understanding of how cells, tissues and organs work together to form organ systems in organisms. We examine various organ systems and develop understanding of how plants and animals survive.

Topics include;
  • cells
  • reproduction
  • mitosis
  • nervous system
  • hormonal control
  • digestive system
  • respiratory system
  • cardiovascular system
  • plant transport
  • genetics & inheritance
