Inspection Report 2018

Categories: School News

At St Ninian's High School today,  staff and pupils celebrate the news that we have just achieved the best result of any Scottish school under Education Scotland's current inspection regime.  Inspectors visited the school in January 2018 and have just published their report which sees us commended across the board for the quality of education and support we provide to pupils.

We are delighted to have received the following evaluations in each of the four Quality Indicators:

Leadership of Change - Excellent

Learning, Teaching and Assessment - Very Good

Raising Attainment and Achievement - Very Good

Ensuring Wellbeing, Equality and Inclusion - Very Good

Paul McLaughlin, Head Teacher, commented:  "We are delighted that the inspection team agreed with us that St Ninian's is an outstanding school.  The whole school community works hard every day to provide the best possible education for all young people in the school and it is fantastic to have this recognised in such glowing terms.  Thanks are due to all our parents, partners, staff and pupils who have contributed to such a positive outcome."
